About the Alumni Association
The Mass General Brigham Alumni Association is community of clinicians who share the common experience of having completed medical training through any Mass General Brigham Graduate Medical Education program or a postdoctoral appointment.
Through this shared identity, we hope to inspire pride and foster engagement that manifests in the form of:
- Reconnecting with colleagues from around the world
- Enhancing professional collaborations
- Collaborating on research ideas
- Mentoring the next generation of trainees
- Keeping updated on the latest Mass General Brigham research
- Strengthening ties with what is happening at Mass General Brigham

Alumni spotlight
Tina Young Poussaint, MD, FACR
Tina Young Poussaint, MD, FACR, is the Chief of Radiology, and the Lionel W. Young Chair in Radiology at Boston Children’s Hospital, as well as a Professor of Radiology at Harvard Medical School. She was always interested in the sciences, and knew that radiology was her specialty when she attended Yale University School of Medicine and did an elective at UCSF.
Dr. Poussaint completed her residency and fellowship in the department of radiology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and credits her experience to hard work, grit, and determination. When it comes to firsts, Dr. Poussaint has had many in her career.

Faculty spotlight
Adeline A. Boatin, MD, MPH
Adeline A. Boatin, MD, MPH, is an Obstetrics & Gynecology specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital, an assistant professor in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School and an affiliate faculty for the Center for Global Health at MGH, and the Program for Global Surgery and Social Change at Harvard Medical School.
Dr. Boatin’s work focuses on ensuring that women in low resource settings make it to the hospital in time for a successful delivery and that quality follow up care is provided to the mother and newborn. She has been piloting projects with wearable medical devices that track women’s during and after childbirth, so that they can monitor the patients despite severe staffing shortages.

Our mission is to elevate, steward and foster a community of medical professionals that advances excellence in medical research, education, and health delivery through active involvement in Mass General Brigham’s worldwide alumni network. By creating opportunities for networking, research, and mentorship while promoting and celebrating a tradition in excellence and shared experience, our organization strives to build engagement and enhance and inspire collaboration among alumni, trainees, and the entire Mass General Brigham organization.
