BWH Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship

The Cutaneous Oncology Fellowship aims to train academic dermatologists to become leaders in the diagnosis and management of cutaneous malignancies. This program offers comprehensive multidisciplinary clinical and research opportunities to develop expertise in skin cancer diagnosis, dermatopathology, surgical and systemic therapies, and collaborative oncologic care.

Overview

The fellow will develop expertise in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of cutaneous malignancies including melanoma, cutaneous lymphomas, Merkel cell carcinoma, and high-risk basal and squamous cell cancers. The program will include the full spectrum of clinical management, from clinical diagnosis to histopathological confirmation and surgery and chemotherapeutic treatments. A multi-disciplinary approach will be utilized, and the fellow will work closely with dermatologists, dermatopathologists, medical oncologists, and surgical oncologists.
