Overview
The MGH Nuclear Cardiology Fellowship at the Corrigan Minehan Heart Center provides advanced training in cardiovascular nuclear imaging. Fellows develop expertise in SPECT, PET/CT cardiac imaging, molecular cardiac imaging, and multimodality cardiovascular imaging interpretation. The program integrates clinical training with research opportunities in novel imaging biomarkers and techniques.
Requirements
Completed cardiovascular disease fellowship. Contact program for specific application requirements.
Curriculum
Clinical rotations in nuclear cardiology laboratory. SPECT myocardial perfusion imaging. Cardiac PET/CT imaging. Molecular and metabolic cardiac imaging. Multimodality imaging interpretation. Radiation safety and quality assurance.
Research Experience
Research opportunities in novel cardiac imaging biomarkers, PET/CT applications in cardiovascular disease, and imaging-guided risk stratification.
