Overview

The Stroke Division of the Department of Neurology at Massachusetts General Hospital offers one- and two-year stroke research fellowships to interested candidates with MD and/or PhD training and a strong background in biomedical science. The MGH Stroke Faculty is comprised of world-renowned vascular neurologists, neurointensivists, neurointerventionalists, neurosurgeons, and emergency physicians who provide expert mentorship and training.

Requirements

  • MD and/or PhD training
  • Background in biomedical research preferred

Research Experience

New investigators can pursue active research careers in:

  • Acute ischemic stroke
  • Stroke genetics
  • Intracerebral hemorrhage
  • Stroke biomarkers
  • Cerebral amyloid angiopathy
  • Emergency medicine
  • Neuroimaging and neuroradiology
  • Neurocritical care and stroke outcomes

Salary is commensurate with the candidate’s PGY level. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
