Overview
The Massachusetts General Hospital Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship provides advanced training in the comprehensive care of patients with gynecologic malignancies. Fellows work within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, delivering high volume and patient-centered surgical and multidisciplinary cancer care.
Over three years, fellows gain expertise in complex pelvic surgery, inpatient oncology and post-operative care, chemotherapy, gynecologic pathology, pain management, palliative care and survivorship care. Training includes a fellow-driven project in basic science and/or clinical research. All clinical activities are centralized at the Massachusetts General Hospital main campus. At the conclusion of this training program, fellows are prepared to practice independently and become leaders in the field of gynecologic oncology.
