Overview
The Mass General Brigham Orthopedic Trauma Fellowship Program is a one-year program with emphasis on the management of adult musculoskeletal trauma and post-traumatic reconstruction. The fellows will work with the orthopedic residents and staff of Massachusetts General Hospital and Brigham and Women's Hospital as an integral part of the trauma services.
Clinical responsibilities will include the following: acute trauma; all aspects of reconstructive trauma care; pelvic and acetabular trauma including pelvic and acetabular osteotomies; small wire techniques for trauma reconstruction; and spine trauma. The Fellow will also take call and participate in the educational program of the Orthopaedic Trauma Service extended to medical students, residents, and attending staff. The fellows are expected to present a clinical or basic research project at the annual Harvard Orthopedic Trauma Research Day.

Requirements
Candidates from the United States and Canada must have:
- Successfully completed an accredited Orthopedic residency
- Be board-eligible, per ABOS
- Be able to obtain medical licensure in Massachusetts
Candidates must be eligible for an unrestricted full Massachusetts medical license. Please note that all applicants must successfully complete Steps 1, 2 and 3 of the United States Medical Licensing Examination prior to the start of their fellowship year.
