MGH Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship
Overview
The Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry Fellowship at MGH provides a multidisciplinary training environment with access to subspecialty clinics in the Departments of Psychiatry and Neurology. Fellows gain experience in evaluation and treatment of neurodevelopmental, neurodegenerative, movement, cerebrovascular and autoimmune disorders in addition to epilepsy, TBI and functional neurologic disorders.
There is a one-year clinical track and a two-year clinician scientist track. Both tracks include ample academic time, weekly didactics and a variety of monthly conferences.
Requirements
Completed residency in neurology or psychiatry. Fulfills requirements for subspecialty certification in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry by the United Council of Neurological Subspecialties (UCNS).
Curriculum
Core Clinics (Neuropsychiatry, Behavioral Neurology, FTD, FND, Neuromodulation);
Electives (Tourette’s, Ataxia, Movement Disorders, Epilepsy, etc);
Ample didactics, rounds and teaching sessions.
Research Experience
Protected time for academic and research work.
Support for presentations and publications.
