Overview
The Acute and Reconstructive Burn Fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital’s Burns Center provides fellows with a broad exposure to all aspects of burn care, including acute care and reconstruction. The MGH Burns Center is one of the premier burn treatment facilities in the nation, providing comprehensive care for patients with thermal, chemical, and electrical injuries.
Requirements
Completed general surgery or plastic surgery residency. Contact program for specific application requirements.
Curriculum
Clinical training in acute burn management, burn critical care, wound care, skin grafting and flap surgery, burn reconstruction, and outpatient follow-up. Collaboration with MGH trauma, critical care, and plastic surgery services.
Research Experience
Research opportunities in burn outcomes, wound healing, critical care management, and reconstructive techniques.
