Post-Residency Fellowship in Laryngeal Surgery and Voice
Overview
Massachusetts General Hospital’s post-residency clinical and research Fellowships in Laryngeal Surgery and Voice offer a one or two-year subspecialty training program led by three specialized laryngeal surgeons and four staff scientists at the MGH Laryngeal Surgery and Voice Center. These fellowships provide state-of-the-art training in all aspects of laryngeal surgery, voice disorders, and management of the professional voice. This includes comprehensive treatment of laryngeal cancer, vocal cord paralysis and paresis, all benign lesions, intubation injuries, and trauma. The program provides a comprehensive experience in all aspects of airway, swallowing, and voice management related to laryngeal disorders. More than 40 clinical and research fellows have completed the program, and many have gone on to direct their own specialized centers, as well as teach at some of the best hospitals and universities in the U.S. and abroad.
