Overview

Our research program is dedicated to advancing postoperative outcomes in patients undergoing cardiac surgery through rigorous clinical investigation, leveraging large-scale datasets and pragmatic trial designs. We have a particular emphasis on preventing surgical site infections through optimized antibiotic stewardship, as well as mitigating acute kidney injury and postoperative delirium by identifying modifiable perioperative risk factors and developing scalable, evidence-based interventions.
