The Skeletal Biology Research Center advances the future of oral and maxillofacial care by integrating innovative materials, cutting-edge technologies, and interdisciplinary approaches to engineer functional bone and cartilage. Focused on addressing both congenital and acquired craniomaxillofacial defects, the Center’s research spans bone tissue engineering, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) regeneration, and the development of biomaterials tailored for craniomaxillofacial applications. By leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance surgical planning and outcomes, and by maintaining a strong commitment to evidence-based research, the Center aims to translate scientific discovery into transformative clinical solutions that improve patient care and quality of life.

Open Positions

DDS/DMD and PhD candidates interested in a research fellowship or a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Skeletal Biology Research Center are welcome to apply.
