Gynecologic Oncology Research
Investigators in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology conduct basic, translational, and clinical research aimed at improving the detection, treatment, and outcomes of gynecologic cancers.
Overview
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mass General Brigham supports a comprehensive gynecologic oncology research program that integrates laboratory science, translational investigation, clinical trials, and population-based research.
Our investigators study the molecular and cellular drivers of gynecologic malignancies, develop novel therapeutic strategies, advance biomarker discovery and early detection, and evaluate surgical and medical interventions to improve survival and quality of life.
Through collaboration across Obstetrics and Gynecology, the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute, Radiation Oncology, Medical Oncology, and basic science laboratories, we accelerate the translation of discovery into improved patient care.
