Overview

The Global Advancement of Infant and Maternal Health Research Lab at Brigham and Women’s Hospital is a unique, interdisciplinary partnership with The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and global partners. The lab brings together a unique, interdisciplinary team of clinician investigators, data scientists, biomedical engineers, and public health experts. We are committed to advancing the survival, health, and well-being of mothers and infants globally through rigorous research, experiential education, and advocacy.

Research Projects

Our research focus is to address the leading causes of maternal and newborn morbidity and mortality globally. We collaborate with global partners and communities to co-design interventions that strengthen the quality and delivery of care during pregnancy, childbirth, and the early years of life.
