Pediatric Surgical Research Laboratories

Overview

The Pediatric Surgical Research Laboratories are a collaborative group of investigators comprised of surgeon scientists and basic scientists involved in studies of developmental biology, congenital anomalies, reproductive biology, cancer, and other disorders in children, guided by genomics and molecular biology, stem cell biology, and physiology, with the ultimate goal to develop and translate impactful cell and gene therapies to the clinic as effective treatments.

Research Projects

Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Lung hypoplasia, Disorders of the enteric nervous system (including Hirschsprung disease), inflammatory bowel disease, ovarian biology, ovarian cancer, ovarian reserve insufficiency, infertility, oncofertility, and contraception.
