Overview

Dr. Montesi is a physician-investigator in the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Massachusetts General Hospital and an Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School. Her clinical practice centers on the care of patients with interstitial lung disease (ILD), including idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and autoimmune-associated-ILD.

Her research program bridges clinical care and translational science, with a focus on developing and applying novel imaging technologies to better understand fibrotic lung disease and assess treatment effects of antifibrotic therapies.
