Overview
The 3D Imaging Research Lab conducts translational research on using image analysis, Computer Aided Detection (CAD), and quantitative disease analysis with medical images to enhance the quality of patient care. The 3D Imaging Research Lab has expertise in quantitative image analysis and computer-aided detection.
Our mission is to:
- Enhance the quality of patient care through advanced imaging
- Conduct quantitative disease analysis on medical images
- Enhance the quality of patient care through advanced imaging
We are focused on developing advanced imaging and visualization technology to improve the patient experience and enhance the clinical efficacy of CT colonography (CTC), a non-invasive alternative to optical colonoscopy. Our team is developing applications for image analysis of a variety of organs to aid in treatment planning and treatment response tracking for liver, kidney, lung and other tumors.
Tumor Imaging Metrics Core
The Tumor Imaging Metrics Core provides standardized, consistent, and efficient radiological measurements to evaluate tumor response for clinical trials at DF/HCC (Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center) and other collaborating cancer centers around the world.
