Mass General Brigham offers exceptional training for all health professionals, from student opportunities and internships, to specialized residency and fellowship programs, to continuing and community-based education. The integrated Mass General Brigham Education Committee is organized to support our shared education and training mission across the entire health system.

MGH Institute of Health Professions
The MGH Institute has two schools: School of Nursing (SON), and School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS). Areas of study in include Audiology, Cardiac Care, Data Analytics, Genetic Counseling, Health Administration, Health Professions Education, Health Sciences, Language and Literacy, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant Studies, Physical Therapy, Rehabilitation Sciences, and Speech-Language Pathology.

The Peter L. Slavin, MD Academy for Applied Learning in Health Care
Founded in 2022 with a transformational gift from the Lunder Foundation of Portland, Maine to Massachusetts General Hospital to launch the Lunder Learning Initiative, the Slavin Academy is leading an integrated effort to harness the power of education and training across the health professions to ensure the highest quality care for every patient. The Slavin Academy is a collaborative organizational hub committed to promoting the educational mission, sustaining educational impact, invigorating the educational community, transforming the learner experience, and evaluating educational effectiveness.
The Slavin Academy is leading integration efforts with the Brigham Education Institute to support educational scholarship, teacher training, learning innovation, and community-building across our system, including shared library and museum resources.
